Maestro Fresh Wes is a hip hop icon. Fellow Canadian rapper, Drake, credits Wes for giving him confidence as a Canadian hip hop artist. He recently released his seventh studio album, Coach Fresh and was nominated for Rap Recording of the Year. His track, “Jurassic Park” is also the fan anthem for the Toronto Raptors NBA team.
