A runaway train in Western Australia was intentionally derailed on Monday, reports CNN. The four locomotives and 268 wagons were hauling ore and no one was on board at the time of the incident.  The Australian Transport Safety Bureau reports that the "driver alighted from the locomotive to inspect an issue with an ore car. While the driver was outside of the locomotive, the train commenced to runaway."  It also notes that the train traveled roughly fifty-seven miles before being run off of the tracks.  While there were no reported injuries, the train is said to have been badly damaged.
