What Happened to Albert Einstein's Brain

On April 17 1955, Einstein experienced internal bleeding caused by the rupture of his heart Artery.

He was suddenly taken to the Hospital where doctors said that a surgery can save his life. But Einstein denied the surgery by saying, "I want to go when I want. I've played my part, It's time to go."

Only a few people knw that his brain was stolen by a Thomas Harvey, who kept it in jars in his basement for 40 years. After 4 decades, Harvey showed up & gave the brain to scientists. Overall 46 pieces of his brain were acquired. Currently it is preserved in Mütter Museum
