New Poll Shows 'Remain' Would Win In Brexit Referendum
  • 5 years ago
According to a new poll, the UK would vote to stay in the European Union in a new Brexit referendum. Survation on Monday published its findings from the largest public survey on Brexit since the referendum. The results revealed that 54% of people would now vote for the UK to stay in the EU, while 46% of people would vote to stick with the 2016 decision to leave. The research says 105 local authorities that voted for Leave in 2016 would vote for Remain in a new referendum. Prime Minister Theresa May has been facing increased pressure from MPs and business leaders to put the outcome of Brexit negotiations to another referendum.
