After exploding onto the scene with unparalleled force, Unglued has become one of the hottest new prospects in drum & bass. Following his anthemic and record-breaking ‘If We Ever Remix’ and debut single ‘Chicken In A Spacesuit’, he now releases his first EP on Hospital that takes things ‘Deep, Dark and Dirty’.
The EP’s title track is a certified banger and grotty sub-shaker with a funky melody that steps in and out of its rolling bassline. It’s catchy vocal will have ravers singing along after the rave for days on end. As a die-hard junglist and record collector, Unglued takes inspiration from D+B’s roots with ‘Original Selector’, toying with classic low-frequencies and rugged percussion.
‘Tekapo’ proves Unglued isn't a one-trick pony. This tranquil roller is filled with angelic vocals, industrial sonics and serene melodic pads. Seeing off the EP is ‘No Escape’ a loaded bass-weapon packed with danger.
