The gates of Sabarimala temple are set to open anytime now. Additional police deployment is in place all along the 4 kilometre stretch and metal detectors have been installed. Moreover 15 women police aged about 50 have been deployed for security for the first time. No women have sort permission to climb up till now. The Kerala high court today said that the devotees and media should not be stopped and that the government should not interfere with the temple activities.
