CNN Hits Back At Trump Jr. Over 'Racist' Immigration Ad

CNN and Donald Trump Jr. engaged in a heated Twitter exchange on Saturday.
CNN has issued a sharp response to Donald Trump Jr.'s claim that the network refused to run an ad about illegal immigrants committing crimes in the U.S.
The exchange began Saturday morning when the president's son tweeted out the video ad with the comment: "CNN refused to run this ad... I guess they only run fake news and won't talk about real threats that don't suit their agenda. Enjoy. Remember this on Tuesday. #vote #voterepublican."
A few hours later, the network replied: "CNN has made it abundantly clear in its editorial coverage that this ad is racist. When presented with an opportunity to be paid to take a version of this ad, we declined. Those are the facts."
The president himself tweeted out a similar video on Wednesday, adding: "It is outrageous what the Democrats are doing to our Country. Vote Republican now!"
However, the move has been criticized by many including some Republicans like Arizona Senator Jeff Flake who called the ad "sickening."
