The first caravan of thousands of Central American migrants rests in an improvised camp in the Mexican state of Oaxaca before they will attempt to continue their trek across the country in hopes of reaching the United States, even as US President Donald Trump threatened to deploy as many as 15,000 soldiers to its border with Mexico.
