South and North Korean taekwondo bodies agree to establish joint organization

Also after holding talks in Pyeongyang today, World Taekwondo from South Korea and the International Taekwondo Federation from the North have signed an agreement to establish a joint organization for their integration and the development of taekwondo.
According to the two sides, the name of the organization and its goals will be decided during their meeting in December.
They also saw eye to eye on plans for joint activities at international events, including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The two sides have promised to hold working-level talks at least once a month to facilitate their agreement.
