China's UN envoy says UNSC has "reversible provisions" on N. Korea's sanctions

The UN Security Council is discussing easing sanctions imposed on North Korea (QUOTE-UNQUOTE) "at an appropriate time."
China's ambassador to the UN, Ma Zhaoxu, said on Thursday.... that Security Council resolutions related to North Korea contain (quote)"reversible provisions" that can provide adjustments in light of the regime's compliance.
Mentioning the positive developments in inter-Korean and North Korea-U.S. relations,.... Ma said,... China and some other Security Council members believe "it's necessary for the Security Council to consider invoking the reversible provisions at an appropriate time."
He added the timing hinges on the development of the situation and the opinions of other members of the Security Council.
