Sangza, food for Qingming Festival

Sangza is a snack made of wheat-flour dough and pulled into thin noodles. It is popular among the Hui people in Northwestern China. Traditionally, the snack is cooked for Qingming Festival. It is made by pulling wheat flour dough into thin ropes. Bunches of the ropes are then shaped into rings, which are deep-fried into a pyramid shape. It has a shiny and golden look. Sangza is very famous for its great varieties and various flavors.
