Scripps Buys 15 TV Stations Across The U.S.

Broadcasting & Cable says that E.W. Scripps is buying 15 T.V. stations in 10 different markets from Cordillera Communications.
The price tag is $521 million.
Adam Symson, Scripps President and CEO explained the deal saying, "In addition to the immediate benefits to our portfolio’s operating performance, this deal leaves Scripps with the capability to continue to pursue incremental and transformative deals for television stations.
