Twitter Drops 9 Million Users Following Bot Crackdown The social platform’s user count took a hit Q2 due to its ongoing hunt for problematic accounts. Twitter’s monthly user base fell to 326 million from 335 million the previous quarter. That marks the second quarter in a row of user declines. Since Twitter has been working on rapidly removing bot accounts, the loss didn’t come as a surprise. However, daily active users are
positively growing. Twitter still won’t say exactly how many daily users it has, but it says the number is up 9% year-over-year.
