According to Deadspin, the National Football League fired an official after missing a call over a week ago.
Hugo Cruz was the down judge during a game between the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Chargers.
Held on Oct. 14th, the week six game in Cleveland also marks the last game Cruz will call as an NFL official.
During a third down play, Cruz failed to flag a false start by the Chargers offense, which led to a touchdown that should not have counted.
