ECB holds benchmark interest rate at 0%, but reaffirms stimulus exit plans

The European Central Bank has left its benchmark interest rates unchanged as widely expected by financial markets.
That means the main rate stays at zero percent and base deposit rate of minus 0.4 percent.
However, the ECB confirmed that its plan to end its 15 billion-euro monetary easing by the end of the year remains on track.
