was announced by Attorney
General Karl Racine on Tuesday. The investigation is into
whether the Archdiocese The Nonprofit Act states
that all non-profits must
work for a public purpose. The Archdiocese
is classified as a

announced a new portal for
victims of clergy abuse to
submit their claims
to his office. Racine is pursuing a civil
lawsuit because he does
not have jurisdiction
over most criminal matters. The Archdiocese of Washington
claims they have not had an
