BTS to become youngest recipients of government's Cultural Medal at Korea Entertainment Awards

K-pop star boyband BTS will receive a cultural medal at the Korea Entertainment Awards,.... an award ceremony run by the Ministry of Culture.
The boyband were chosen for their contribution to spreading Korean culture throughout the world.
With an average age of less than 24,.... BTS will be the youngest ever recipients of the government award, and are the only K-pop idols to even have been nominated for it.
BTS will receive the award personally after arriving in Korea from the European leg of their world tour.
The Korea Entertainment Awards kicks off at Seoul's Olympic Hall at 4:30PM on Wednesday.
