The FBI was reportedly “unable to locate” pictures of former FBI Director James Comey and special counsel Robert Mueller “hugging and kissing.”

The FBI was reportedly "unable to locate" pictures of former FBI Director James Comey and special counsel Robert Mueller "hugging and kissing," reports The Hill.   That was stated in a response to Jason Leopold of BuzzFeed News, who had submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for them after President Trump said dozens of such images existed.  Leopold shared the Justice Department's letter via Twitter on Tuesday.  Trump made the claim in an interview with The Daily Caller that was published on September 5.  The president said the Mueller is "Comey's best friend. And I could give you 100 pictures of him and Comey hugging and kissing each other. You know, he's Comey's best friend."
Comey, who was abruptly fired in May of last year, and Mueller, who's heading the investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election, are among Trump's favorite Twitter targets.  In one tweet, Trump wrote: "Is Robert Mueller ever going to release his conflicts of interest with respect to President Trump, including the fact that we had a very nasty & contentious business relationship, I turned him down to head the FBI (one day before appointment as S.C.) & Comey is his close friend."
