Gigi Hadid is being sued for posting a photo she found of herself on Twitter. After deleting the photo, Hadid told her fans she is being “legally pursued” for the post. According to Refinery29, the photo was taken by the paparazzi outside of an event. While Hadid may think being sued for the photo is “absurd,” the photo is copyrighted. In the U.S. there are laws that protect artists from having their work stolen, including from celebrities.
