A former longtime aide of Hillary Clinton recently suggested to Politico Magazine that Clinton running in 2020 is not outside of the realm of possibility. Philippe Reines, who worked with Clinton during both her Senate and Secretary of State years, commented, "It's curious why Hillary Clinton's name isn't in the mix—either conversationally or in formal polling—as a 2020 candidate," and noted, "there's no one in the Democratic Party who has anywhere near a base of 32 million people. That's multiples of what a Sanders or a Warren have."  On the matter of whether a Clinton 2020 campaign could actually happen, he replied: "It's somewhere between highly unlikely and zero, but it's not zero."  Cases have been made for Clinton making another run for president. Matthew Walther of The Week recently suggested that, to win, "all she would have to do is run the campaign she is actually suited for instead of the one foisted on her by dim-witted consultants and woke staffers."  "Third time's the charm, Hillary," he also noted. All the recent talk of Clinton becoming a 2020 contender has created quite a buzz, and, in at least one case, some clear excitement.  President Trump's press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday tweeted a link to news of the possibility and wrote, "Christmas coming early this year?"
