President Moon says his stay in Italy and the Vatican made him realize that peace is the future of humanity.
Before leaving for Belgium, the next leg of his Europe tour,… the South Korean leader said in a Facebook post... that a coalition made through peace is humane,… adding Pope Francis has shown consistent blessings to efforts in bringing peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Moon thanked Cardinal Pietro Parolin for presiding over a special Mass for peace.
The president also sent a message of gratitude to Italy's prime minister, who told him that Rome will fully support Korea on its road to peace.
