Defense chiefs of S. Korea and U.S vow to coordinate on denuclearization

The defense chiefs of Seoul and Washington met today in Singapore... and vowed to strengthen their coordination for a denuclearized Korean Peninsula.
While attending the fifth edition of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting-Plus,... South Korean Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo... and his American counterpart James Mattis discussed recent developments on the Peninsula.
Both welcomed last month's successful Pyeongyang Summit,... and agreed to jointly support diplomatic efforts for the common goal of perpetual peace on the Peninsula as well as complete and verifiable denuclearization.
They also agreed to cooperate and maintain a strong, joint defense readiness.
