Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad announced that the posts of prime minister, menteri besar and chief minister will be limited to two terms.

In the mid-term review of the RMK11 released by the Economic Affairs Ministry today, Mahathir announced that this was one of the measures to engance integrity.

The midterm review of RMK11 was carried out due to the change in government.

Many of the initiatives Mahathir said Putrajaya would undertake, had been outlined in the Pakatan Harapan manifesto.
