A new study found that children who grow up with home libraries do better latter in life when it comes to literacy, applying math skills to every day life and learning how to use digital technology. According to MNN, researchers collected data from 160,000 adults from across 31 countries. They were asked to estimate how many books were in their households by the time they were 16 years old. The average number was 115 books, though results varied from country to country.
