Hillary Clinton: 'Our Democracy Is In Crisis,' Midterms Are 'Our Last Chance'
Hillary Clinton on Tuesday took another aim at President Trump.

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday urged people to gear up for the midterm elections in November.   She began her series of tweets with, "Our democracy is in crisis. The president degrades the rule of law, spreads corruption, and discredits truth. Over the next three weeks, we all have a chance to turn back the tide. Here are three things you can do before November 6:"  Clinton proceeds to list them, starting with, "Study after study shows that person-to-person conversations are the most effective way to turn people out to vote. Sign up with @SwingLeft to knock on doors in a toss-up congressional district near you during the last weekend before the election."  Next, she urges people to, "Make a plan to vote, volunteer, make strategic donations, and turn out friends with http://crushthemidterms.org."  Clinton also notes, "Whatever you do, do something. These midterm elections are our last chance to defend our democracy. Let's win."
She's not the only prominent Democrat to emphasize the importance of the midterms.
Axios reports, former President Obama said at a recent fundraiser: "[W]e have a midterm election coming up that will be...an opportunity for us to stop the bleeding, to restore a sense of hope and promise, to, in very concrete terms, save peoples' lives and make sure they have health care."
