President Trump announced that he was sending Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to meet with King Salman in Saudi Arabia. He said King Salman has denied any involvement in the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. According to CNN, Trump told reporters that the denial was "very strong." The president said that after speaking with King Salman he believes that "rogue killers" may have killed Khashoggi. He went on to say, "We are going to try to get to the bottom of it very soon."
