Over 4,000 prison inmates have been evacuated in Florida due to Hurricane Michael. The state says all facilities suffered minor damage, none of which has impacted housing or security. Florida adds that all incarcerated people have had access to meals and drinking water. According to Gizmodo, around 850 inmates evacuated before the storm hit.
