Alice ascolta e si appassiona alla musica dall'età di 12 anni, spaziando dal blues di Jimi Hendrix alle note più dolci di Joni Mitchell, al cantautorato scanzonato di Franco Battiato a quello più ermetico di Polly Jean Harvey, arrivando anche al jazz strumentale di Emily Remler. Inizia a suonare i primi accordi sulla chitarra da adolescente e comincia così a comporre le prime canzoni, che solamente più tardi confluiranno in un progetto solista. Data, inoltre, la grande passione per la musica, dal 2009 si occupa anche di musica classica, volgendo particolarmente interesse allo studio del repertorio barocco.
Lil Alice is grown up in the foggy lands of North Italy, where the sun not often shines. The favourite soundtracks for a solitary life in the country were the blues of Robert Johnson, Joni Mitchell, Franco Battiato, Emily Remler, Jimi Hendrix and P.J.Harvey. She has been introduced in singing and playing guitar since the age of 12 and after that it was a natural choice to put up a repertoir of her own songs.
