Senator Marco Rubio does not want the U.S. to be involved with Saudi Arabia at the moment. Rubio thinks Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin should not attend an upcoming investment conference. The reason for this is because of the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Rubio doesn’t think U.S. officials should continue business with the country until the matter is resolved. The senator said there will be a “strong congressional response” if Khashoggi is found dead.
