Do you like reality TV? This year, U.S. Embassy Nepal hosted “Tiger Pitch” – a fast-paced competition where Nepali entrepreneurs presented innovative solutions to help improve the entrepreneurial sector and investment climate of Nepal.
All our competitors recently returned from the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit, where they interacted with fellow entrepreneurs from around the world and exchanged ideas on ways to strengthen the start-up environment and encourage economic development. At “Tiger Pitch,” our contestants talked about everything from facilitating Foreign Direct Investment to making payment gateways more accessible and regulated in Nepal – all with the common goal of achieving a more prosperous and economically diverse Nepal in 2018 and beyond.
What are some policy reforms you think will strengthen and support Nepal’s business environment and start-up culture?
