Foreigners spent US$ 210 mil. on plastic surgeries in South Korea last year

Around fifty-thousand foreign visitors to South Korea... spent over 2-hundred million US dollars on plastic surgeries last year.
According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare,.... the combined medical expenditures made by foreigners in the country... amounted to 6-hundred million US dollars in 2017.
Of that amount,... the patients spent 2-hundred-10 million dollars on plastic surgeries,... a near five-fold increase from the 46 million dollars spent back in 2012.
Based on the ministry’s data, facial bone contouring surgery was the most expensive at around one-thousand US dollars, followed by breast surgery, liposuction and cosmetic nose surgery.
