President Trump on Tuesday again went after Hillary Clinton.

President Trump on Tuesday hit back at Hillary Clinton for saying that he'd turned Monday night's ceremonial swearing-in of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh into a "political rally."  When asked about the assertion, Trump replied, "I guess that's why she lost. She doesn't get it. She never did. I knew that a long time ago."  Clinton made the comment during a Tuesday morning interview with CNN and in response to Trump offering an apology "on behalf of our nation" to the Kavanaugh family "for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure."  In the wake of the sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh, Trump further commented: "Those who step forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception." In addition to criticizing the president for making the partisan remarks, Clinton noted that, in doing so, he had "been true to form. He has insulted, attacked, demeaned women throughout the campaign — really for many years leading up to the campaign. And he's continued to do that inside the White House."
