The six-year-old caregiver

Six-year-old Jiajia became her father’s caregiver after a car accident left him partially paralysed. Tian Haicheng, 39, from Ningxia in northwest China, and his daughter began live streaming their plight after his wife took Jiajia’s older brother and walked out on them. The pair have now recorded more than 600 videos and have become an internet sensation with more than 450,000 followers. They earn up to 4,000 yuan (US$579) a month from live streaming.
