National Highway 305 blocked after landslide in HP’s Mandi

A portion of National Highway 305 was blocked after a landslide led to restriction in mobility on the path. NH-305, running between Rampur and Aut, was blocked at Bali Chowki. The state has been tackling frequent landslides and flash floods resulting in loss of life and livelihood. Himachal Pradesh received 927.1 mm of rainfall this monsoon season (June 1-September 30, 2018). The normal levels of rainfall in the state are said to be 825.3 mm.
