President Donald Trump's controversial Supreme court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh has been sworn in as the 114th Supreme Court justice.The private ceremony was held on October 6 a few hours after the Senate voted 50 to 48 to give him the life time positionHis nomination split both the senate and the nation after Dr Christine Ford accused him of attempting to rape her resulting in a public hearing. Kavanaugh fiercely denied the allegations in a emotional testimony.The Republicans now have a 5-4 majority in the Supreme Court. The court has the final say on issues such as abortion rights and immigration.
