Telangana to go to polls on 7th December; TDP cries foul over poll dates

The Telugu Desam Party has raised concerns over the Election Commission announcing the dates of the polls in the state. The party says that while they're ready for elections, it's not okay for the election commission to go ahead and announce the dates since the voters list hasn't been finalised yet. Remember the HC reminded the Election Commission of India to not notify the final voters' list in the state till decided on the plea that questioned the alleged discrepancies in the voters list. However the election commission clarified that the delay in the announcement was because the polling body had to submit documents to the High Court.
