Cannabis 'More Harmful' for Teen Brains Than Alcohol A new study suggests that teens using cannabis are impairing their
developing brains. Researchers from the University of Montreal found that the impact on cognitive skills, memory and behavior was worse than the impact from alcohol consumption. Taking drugs during teen years negatively affects decision-making, attention span and academic performance.
