GM And Honda Joining Forces On Self Driving Vehicles

According to Business Insider, General Motors announced they will be teaming up with Honda in a bid to compete in the self-driving market. Honda has committed to investing $2 billion over 12 years in the collaboration with GM's Cruise autonomous division, with an additional $750-million equity investment that brings Cruise's valuation to $14.6 billion. The GM-Honda partnership will focus on what both companies call a "purpose-built autonomous vehicle" for Cruise.
