Gramorr sends the Twins two crystal amulets that, used in tandem, can turn an opponent to stone. Meanwhile, Carissa scoffs at soccer, so Iris and Talia take Carissa to watch the Sunny Bay Suns practice. Carissa is puzzled at why the star player Tammy passes the ball – Carissa doesn’t understand the need for teamwork. Neither does Jenny, a skilled Suns player who is called in to sub for Tammy after she’s injured: Jenny scores, but because she won’t pass, the coach pulls her out of the game. Upset, Jenny runs off into the forest. As Carissa tries to comfort Jenny, the Twins mistakenly zap Jenny with their amulets, turning her to stone. Praxina knocks out Carissa with a bolt, and then she and Mephisto turn Iris and Talia to statues with the amulets. A Black Crystal Guard carries the statues deeper into the woods, where the Twins start up a vortex to send the stone Princesses to Gramorr. Carissa comes to, and thanks to teamwork with Amaru, she gets rid of the Guard and makes the petrifying ray hit Praxina. Mephisto is forced to team up with Carissa to restore his sister and the Princesses. The girls then restore Jenny, who takes the advice about teamwork to heart – passing the ball to win the championship game.
