Brazen leopard hunts goat in front of helpless shepherds

This is the moment a leopard attacks a herd and carries away a goat dodging shepherds.
The shepherds were on a vigil after they had spotted a leopard in the vicinity.
As they stood guard carrying sticks, the leopard came from a different direction and attacked the herd.
“It sneaked out of a bush and hunt the goat at lightning speed,'' said a local forest officer.
The incident occurred at the Nondimedu area in Ooty district, Tamil Nadu, India on October 1.
Local residents said they have seen at least five leopard attacks in the past month.
Forest officials said they were making preparations to trap the leopard.
