Rubber Racketeers (1942) Film noir

Rubber Racketeers 1942 movie. 1940's film crime drama about a fresh out of prison non reformed gangster named Gilinwho finds a new criminal enterprise. With government restrictions on rubber in place due to the war, Gilin goes into business stealing and re-selling good tires, then sells tires retreaded with cheap rubber to used-car lots. Of course tire blowouts soon cause trouble for him. Better than it sounds.
