Hurricane Rosa Heading For Baja California

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Hurricane Rosa, headed for Baja California, weakened in the Pacific Ocean and was forecast to further wane in the coming days, the U.S. NOAA/Handout via REUTERS Rosa, with maximum sustained winds decreasing to almost 120 miles per hour (195 kph), was now a Category 3 storm, coming down a notch on the five-step Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. It was about 625 miles (1,005 km) southwest of the southern tip of Baja California and moving northwest at almost 6 mph (9 kph).
