According to Reuters, the Senate Judiciary Committee will ask the Trump administration to conduct another FBI background investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The committee issued the statement a day after a Senate hearing including Judge Kavanaugh, and a woman who accused him of sexual assault.
The statement said the supplemental investigation will be limited to current and credible allegations against Kavanaugh.
