Surgical Strike 2nd Anniversary: PM Narendra Modi inaugurates 'Parakram Parv' in Jodhpur

As India observes the second anniversary of the surgical strikes on Pakistan terrorists, mega celebrations have been planned across the country. A 3-day event called the Parakram Parv will be organised at the India Gate main lawns and similar events have been planned at 53 locations in 51 cities across the country by the Defence Ministry to highlight the valour of the Indian Armed forces in general and Special Forces in particular. Meanwhile the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair a defence meet in Jodhpur and will address the combined commander’s conference at the Jodhpur airbase today.
