A Colorado child who was in the midst of a math homework crisis recently called 911 for help, reports WABC. A recording of that call was posted to Facebook on Tuesday by Fort Collins Police Services.  "Hi, this isn't an emergency, but I'm 10 years old and I'm working on my math homework right now and I can't figure out what 71 divided by 3,052 is," the child said. Chris Clow, the dispatcher, not only identified the source of trouble, which was that the numbers had been flipped around, but came up with the answer.  However, in its Facebook post, the department noted, "Not all dispatchers are as skilled in math and/or readily equipped with calculators as Dispatcher Chris."
"Please only call 911 for emergencies," the post further stated. "You can call us at 970-419-FCPD for non-emergencies, though it should be noted that FCPD is not responsible for incorrect homework answers."
