Fox News host Chris Wallace said on Thursday that a family email exchange about sexual assault accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh prompted his daughters to reveal their own high school incidents, notes The Hill. "[They] hadn't told their parents, I don't know if they told their friends. Certainly had never reported it to police," Wallace stated. He went on to note that the events described "weren't as serious as the allegations against Kavanaugh…But the point is that there are teenage girls who don't tell stories to a lot of people, and then it comes up, and I don't think we can disregard that." "I don' think we can disregard Christine Blasey Ford and the seriousness of this," Wallace further said. "I think that would be a big mistake."  Wallace's comments came as the Senate Judiciary Committee was preparing to question both Kavanaugh and Ford.  Each committee member will have five minutes to ask questions, with Republican Senators opting to have their inquiries presented by the female prosecutor they hired for that specific purpose.
