Watch: Pune's Mutha canal wall collapses, chaos and panic among residents

A wall of Mutha canal of Khadakwasla Dam collapsed earlier today leading to flooded Sinhanad road in Pune. People trapped in the area were rescued by police and rescue teams. Janata Vasahat area in Pune remained flooded as a result. The breach happened around Dandekar bridge of Janata vasaha, which submerged the Dandekar bridge in few minutes.

Sudden gush of water in homes and the road led to chaos and panic among residents and motorists, which brought entire traffic on the Sinhgad road to a halt.
