3,380-acre Charlie Fire almost fully contained as crews tackle blaze

The Charlie Fire near Castaic, California reached 95% containment on Wednesday, September 26.

According to local media, the blaze broke out at 2:40 pm on Saturday, spreading quickly and prompting evacuations in the area. Roads in the vicinity were also shut.

The cause of the fire has not been reported.
