U.S. And Japan Announce Plans To Negotiate New Bilateral Trade Agreement

According to a report by Business Insider, on Wednesday, the US and Japan announced plans to negotiate a bilateral free trade agreement as part of President Donald Trump's campaign to reshape American trade policy. In a joint statement, the two countries said that they would "enter into negotiations, following the completion of necessary domestic procedures, for a United States-Japan Trade Agreement on goods, as well as on other key areas including services, that can produce early achievements.
