Arby's Parent Company Buys Sonic For $2.3 Billion

According to Business Insider, Arby’s parent company, Inspire Brands, is buying Sonic. The company is buying the burger chain for $2.3 billion at $43.50 per share. Sonic is one of the largest drive-in chains in the U.S., with more than 3,600 locations. In addition to Sonic, Inspire Brands also owns Buffalo Wild Wings and Rusty Taco. In total, the company has more than 8,000 location with combines sales exceeding $12 billion.
